FAQ

 

What should I wear for these sessions?

You are representing yourself and your company so you will want to choose clothing that reflects your personality and shows off your brand. Solid colors and minimal patterns tend to photograph best. Avoid bright colors and busy patterns. Most importantly, you want to wear something you're comfortable in.

How long do these sessions last?

I don't put a time limit on these sessions. Typically, it's no more than 2 hours. Headshots are usually pretty quick. Branding sessions are a little more involved and can take more time. If we rent a studio for the session, we will be bound by that time frame. Otherwise, once I know more details about your vision, I can give you a better idea of how long I believe the session will be.

Can I choose the location for my session?

Absolutely! Location is extremely important, and we want to photograph you somewhere that best represents you and your brand. It can be at your office, a studio, outdoors, a coffee shop, or anywhere really as long as we have permission to shoot there. Keep in mind, some locations require extra fees.

How long does it take to receive my final gallery?

Expect your images to be delivered within 2-4 weeks after you finalize your images choices from your proof gallery. I can't officially start editing until I know which images you want. Once I get confirmation on those, then the 2–4-week delivery window starts.

Do you offer group or team headshots?

Yes! The Professional Headshots Package comes with 1 complimentary team photo. Branding Sessions do not come with team shots. We can discuss more details if the need arises.

How do you handle image rights and usage?

You will receive full non-exclusive commercial rights to use the images for personal and professional purposes. I will also ask for permission to use your images in my portfolio and marketing materials.

Can I see the photos during the session?

I love showing my clients the back of my camera as we go. I truly believe that is an important step in the process. I am very attentive to detail, but I am human and can miss some minor things. Showing them to you helps us make any adjustments in real time if need be.

What if I have specific requirements or ideas for my headshots?

I will gladly accommodate as best as I can any specific requirements you may need to follow and the ideas you have. Please share these ideas and requirements with me asap!

What types of backgrounds do you offer for headshots?

I am currently building my collection of backdrops. I have a blue fabric backdrop and white paper as of now. If there is a specific color or style you are looking for, please let me know asap so I can look for it and get it ordered!
