FAQ

What do you mean when you say "Our Vision?"

Typically, clients already know what they want and are looking for, but I don't know what that vision you have is yet. I need to know what you want to achieve through the whole process. Who, what, when, where and why. All the details. Give it all to me and let's get creative!

Please note-- I may not be able to make EVERYTHING happen, but I will do whatever I can to bring those ideas to life for you to cherish forever. :)

What’s the best time of day to have our session?

The early morning sunrise or the evening around sunset for best diffused lighting results. This creates beautiful soft skin tones and stunning skies.

Shooting in the bright sun tends to bring out squinty eyes and overexposed parts of the photos that are unfixable. In certain creative moments, this could also bring some very beautiful and different unique photographs.

How many pictures will I receive?

Different packages include a different number of images. I do offer an upfront purchase add on of your full gallery and time of booking. Please refer to the pricing page for more information. Or reach out to me via message and we can chat! :)

How should we dress for our session?

I will never tell you that you can or can't wear something. I always want you to be comfortable! These are your photos that you, your friends, your family will see forever, and they represent who you are. So however, you want to dress is great with me. I am always willing to help and answer any questions as I know it can be overwhelming trying to figure that out.

My biggest advice would be to keep in mind where our location for the session is at and what season we are in. You want to stand out in your photographs, not blend into the trees or background.

We don’t feel very confident in front of the camera, is that ok?

Of course that's ok! Sometimes it can be scary stepping foot in front of a camera that's focused on you. I always try to make it feel like I am not there. I will do my best to make you feel comfortable confident. I do a lot of prompting in our sessions which tends to take the focus off of being photographed. If there's ever something you're not comfortable doing you can always say something. There are plenty of ideas floating around in my head. I also love showing you the back of the camera so if you see something you don't like, we can make adjustments right then. :)
